UPDATE: TPMS / ABS / ESP / Air Suspension / Parking Brake Fault

So I've been having these issues since a long time now and previously mentioned them on this thread:

In Short:
Drove my car over some big water puddles, got TPMS / ABS / ESP / Air Suspension / Parking Brake Fault errors then took my car to a local garage who cleaned the abs sensors and dried them which made the errors go away only to return back in 2-3 days. Since then it has been on and off they would appear and disappear. When I have these errors the air suspension would tighten up and lock so the car would get very bouncy and stiff. I have also noticed that carwash also triggers / disables these errors (kinda convinced it has to do with some connection or dirt issue)


Any how, I've been trying to get it fixed on and off and been taking my car to a local shop not the dealer.

After all his diagnosis and checking the ABS sensors he suspected a bad wheel bearings as the culprit and we got them changed and the car was perfect but when I started it the next day only to see the errors return back [=(]

I am very fed up at this point and I really feel lost as I have no idea what to do next and have been draining money on this issue. My local garage guy said it could be bad ECU, but I really don't know if that is the case? I mean can it be? but then wouldn't other things be affected as well?

If you guys have any knowledge on this issue please any help or advice would be much appreciated [wrench]

do you have VCDS? do a scan.

but the ABS sensors are known to cause these issues, which is reinforced in your case since they were cleaned and it made a difference (short term). try replacing them instead of cleaning.

You might also check the brake pad wear sensors. I just changed the rear pads on my A6 a couple weekends ago. After "forgetting" to connect the sensor back up and then attempting to reset the parking brake the car threw all kinds of errors. Took a bit to back it all out and clean-up the codes, but reconnecting it did the trick.

you have a bunch of errors in there, but the only one that could effect all of the TPMS / ABS / ESP / Air Suspension / Parking Brake ...is the ABS sensors.

yes. ABS sensors throw any kinds of codes that can be related to braking, emergency braking systems, and traction control.
