Help with Vogtland springs

I'm installing lowering springs on my A4 B6. I'm trying to make sure that I have the fronts oriented properly before proceeding. Does the tight end of the spring go up or down? The lettering would indicate it goes down, but I have seen pics of Vogtland coilovers with the tight coils up. I'm not installing new shocks. just springs front, and rear. On the rears the lettering was right side up. My gut tells me the front should be the same way, but then I saw this pic....
