50 buck chinese ones kind of suck long term but when they have a warranty not bad deal to not deal with cv grease. just replace them every other year. I also like having them as extras to throw in and can deal with rebuilding a good set of axles on my own time. ( I hate cv grease)
Finding a set of used stock ones and having someone like raxles rebuild them is probably the best route. I know there are mixed opinions on raxles just using as an example. Their warranty is to repair your existing axle so having the chinese axles helps if there is a problem.
I have the euro TDI axles which are beefier, but have had some problems with them so actually only running 1 right now. Finally found some passat axles to rebuild the inners with just keep forgetting to order a boot. Not 100% sure I can recommend them.
Are his aftermarket ones already a raxle or similar, or do you mean just cheap chinese ones?

Funny recall the brand, but they are not raxel.

OE axles (rebuilt properly or new) are the way to go. I learned on my B7 that cheap(er) non-OE axles don't do squat, and left me with both vibrations and a bad axle after not too long.

I think the options are basically Raxles or junk. At one point, you could only get Raxles if you had an OE core to send in. Not sure if that’s still the case.
I have Raxles.
