The RS6 is a station wagon.
You have an A6 sedan.

Thank you so much, that’s exactly what I was looking for! However I do have the sline bumper, not the first time I see that. Does anyone know exactly what entails to “slightly modify” to fit? As far as difficulty..
Has anyone slightly modified a rear diffuser to fit the sline/ s6 bumper?

I wouldn’t get the diffuser. I recently did some research on this and I haven’t had one person tell me it was an easy install or modification. This is feedback for a non-sline bumper. Everyone said that they would not do it again and even the eBay seller told me outright it would not fit correctly and recommended against buying. They said they are molding off of a Chinese A6 rear instead of US Spec, thus the difference in fitment and numerous complaints they’ve received. Modifications to fit to a non-sline bumper included cutting tabs and also reforming the entire piece with a heat gun.
If you do go through with it and it turns out it’s bolt on or an easy job, let me know. I do like the rear rs6 design.

Will this bolt right up to a s6 rear bumper?

I ordered this exact part and it was a nightmare. I got it from BK motorsports in California they have their own website, but I ordered it through their Ebay store because it was cheaper there. Upon arrival it looked great, but didn't come close to fitting. I tried my self and not even close. I took it to a body shop and had 3 guys working on it and couldn't get it on the car. They said major body work was needed and it still might now work. To make it worse I contacted Bkmotorsports about my issue and they were complete assholes. The guy finally told me to return the item for a refund. So I did, then the guy said he wasn't going to refund me because of a scratch on one of the exhaust tips from the body shop trying to bend it on my bumper. Luckily I saved all the emails from BKmotorsport and I got in touch with Ebay. After Ebay reviewed everything they ruled in my favor and forced them to give me a full refund. Basically they said they shouldn't have told me to return the item if they weren't going to give me the refund. Don't waste your time it's not going to work.

I have a C7 S6 and asked about just swapping for the C7.5 diffuser (because I like it better). I was immediately told that this was a terrible idea, and not worth the considerable effort. So I dropped it. So...it sounds like you're probably in the same boat, unless you go aftermarket, and even that sounds like a nightmare.

I did that on my S6
wrap the rear diffuser in gloss black, oval tip on ebay and did a muffler delete

Yeah, I’m looking to do the same thing. I can’t believe there’s no true viable option without requiring a lot of tweaks. I guess it’ll have to be an S6 rear valance.
