Currently just a detailing “hobbyist” but looking into a great pressure washer system...curious to know what most of you guys are using. In a perfect world I would LOVE to get the Kranzle but the price right now is a little on the steep end...any other recommendations out there?

The Comet Static 1700 has similar performance to a Kranzle for a lot less.

Good to know I’ve vaguely heard of this one [emoji1360] any experience or knowledge with the Sunjoe or Karcher variations?

So I ended up buying a Kranzle a while back to have it replace my Karcher. Its a great unit, don't get me wrong, but not sure if its necessary.
I had a Karcher K5 540 or something like that. Only like 1.4gpm and 2000ish psi rated. With the Kranzle I bought MTM guns, Lance, everything and went all out.
If I had to do it all over again, I would likely have kept the Karcher but still purchased the MTM or Mosmatic guns/lance and upgraded the hose. I found that it did pretty much everything I needed it to. Also if you have a foam cannon, use the 1.1mm orifice and it was pretty good.
I can't really comment on the sunjoe as I haven't used one. But if I was to start tomorrow, I would like do the Karcher with upgraded guns/hose.
Having said that the Kranzle is a super potent unit that I hope to have for many many many years so I don't see it as a loss. But for something who is cleaning cars as a hobby once or twice a week, not sure you can justify a Kranzle.

This was outstanding!! Thanks for the breakdown I appreciate it ...the K5 is the one I was aiming to get. When you say upgraded the hose what do you mean? What’s wrong with the supplied hose?
The Mosmatic short gun is def on my list along with the MTM canon so there should be no issue connecting these to the Karcher correct? Obvious the 1.1 orifice for the Foam canon but that’s all right?

I had a similar situation. I upgraded from an AR Blue Clean 2N1 to a Kranzle. My difference is I already had an upgraded hose/MTM wand/PF22 with 1.1mm prior to upgrading. I could get decent enough foam and user experience, but it took forever to rinse the car with a 1.2 gpm max flow that I don't think it ever hit. That was my biggest gripe and reason for upgrading. I do like the kranzle a lot. I can rinse in less than half the time now and it's super quiet. If I did it over, I would probably look at one of the units in between the two price points with a similar high flow since the kranzle may be overkill. However, one thing I do like about the kranzle is any parts that would fail down the line are available and serviceable. Gives me that "buy right once" feel. I'm sure I'll have the thing forever.

The hose that came with mine was quite stiff and plasticy. Just tough to use. The hose that comes with the Kranzle is much better. Whatever works for you. Try the hose you have, if you're happy those are always things that can be replaced down the line. You won't have issues connecting to a Karcher provided you get the correct fittings and connections. Every pressure washer manufacture seems to use different ones, so there isn't a one size fits all, its whatever pressure washer you're using. Everything outsite of the pressure washer itself I've set up with quick disconnects so I can swap things on/off easily. Everything is stuff you can do in pieces and not something that needs to be done all at once. Get a pressure washer, and you can slowly upgrade over time.

I totally agree. I'm not dissapointed with my Kranzle because it's extremely well built and all indications are will last a lifetime.
