View Full Version : CarPro ECH20 vs Elixir vs Reload on Ceramic Coating
For the CarPro users out there I am curious on what you are using as a final detail spray on your ceramic coating. I'd appreciate any comments/suggestions.
Thanks!

I am using a combination of Merlins Mixture (the bases of what Elixir is made of). If you search Carpro Merlins Mixture there are a lot of results, people commenting on multiple combinations.
2oz Reload / 2oz Ech20 / 28oz Distilled Water.

Merlin’s (bunch left over) and Elixir. Elixir streaks less and needs less buffing. Once in a month something like straight reload to ramp up the si02 on the car.

I plan on doing a full detail this weekend w/ ceramic coat. Just to be clear on this - once the ceramic coat is applied, how long should I wait before doing the next coat, then wait at least an hour to apply the reload?

Depends on the product. CarPro is one hour.

Follow up, side track question: thoughts on reload as the primary sealant over PPF? Just need help with birds...

Usually once you go around the car once, start back to where you started and do coat 2
