I don't drive my Avant much and its been sitting months now. I knew I had to charge the battery seeing that I haven't turned the car on in a while.
So I dig in there to get the battery out and to my surprise, my battery is sitting in a pool of water!! I take the battery out and there's literally like 6" of water where the battery is. There is a drain hole there but was clogged up with leaves and debris from the trees. Once I cleaned it out the water drained with no problem.
My question is. How do you guys keep leaves, debris, and water from getting in there? If its even possible.
I have the cover that goes there and it still doesn't help.
