I have a 2011 S5 that needs to have the suspension redone. Getting a little clunking in the back and honestly I don't think they've been touched in 90k+miles. I was talking with my mechanic and they said most of them are running Bilstein with lowering springs. I live up north in Ohio and the roads are really shitty and my buddy's 16' S5 is lowered, he scrapes everywhere so I'm thinking of not doing the springs. I wanna keep this budget friendly, I don't see myself keeping the care longer than 2 more years but I also don't wanna just go with OEM. I've had my eye on Koni Adaptive struts and that has a good price point (I think I can get it, parts wise, for about $400). Is anyone running Konis or should I just bite the bullet and get Bilsteins? Price diff is about $500 I think form what I see on ECS website. Not going to be doing much else to the car in line of suspension/handling I'm very pleased with it as is.
