Bumper shock absorber after accident

Someone rear ended me. Not too serious, but the bumber reinforcement bar cracked and the shocks traveled in about 5-6 inches. They came back out, but I wonder if they are compromised and if they should be replaced?

They’re probably fine, but for what they cost used, and for peace of mind, I would replace it. The rebar is broken anyway, and most used ones will be sold with both dampers.
