I am seeking the intelligence of those on this board as I think I may be wasting my time scouring the internet.

I bought an S6 C7 at the beginning of the year, and the one thing that it did not have on it that I wanted was the Beaufort Aluminum interior trim. I know about Allegro.pl and I have found multiple sets out there, but the issue is that I have the Comfort Seating package, meaning that I need to find a set that has the opening in the right door panel for the memory seats and I am having no luck.

I have found multiple sets with the memory seat opening on the left front door, but finding the other seems to be impossible. I considered buying a set without the correct right door piece from Allegro.pl thinking that I could find the one for the right separately on a Right-Hand Drive country site, but I have not been able to find that either. I am starting to think that they never made the Beaufort Aluminum panels for any right-hand drive countries OR for cars outfitted with the Comfort Seating package.

Has anyone ever seen a front right door with Beaufort Aluminum and a Memory Seat button opening? If not, I may just have to discontinue my consistent scouring of the web.

My other thought is that I could but a set without the opening and remove the memory seat buttons for the passenger side as they are really not that important to me, but I was not sure if it would cause any issues. Does anyone know if it would throw an error having it removed and/or if that is something that could be dealt with though VAGCOM?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

buy it new? youre looking for part #10, for the right?
https://www.newaudiparts.com/v-2015-audi-s6--base--4-0l-v8-gas/body--interior-trim-front-door

but none of these specify if its has the cutout for comfort seats. may have to contract the dealer, provide vin, and get he correct part #.
it also looks like that one part will set you back $175+

Suggestion:
Maybe buy the kit you found from wherever you like, then buy just that one piece from the dealer. It is going to be insanely expensive but would achieve your objective.
I believe that one part is 4G0867410ADGC1 and runs about $875 MSRP but can be found online for $750. I would definitely remove yours first and confirm the part number before proceeding though.

Thanks daytona rs7. If it were $175 and it were with the cutout for memory seating, I would be all in. Looks like the Aluminum/Wood version (4G0-867-409-AE-GC1) which I am assuming is Beaufort Aluminum is actually $631. The information helps though as it gives me a better idea of the part number to start.

Nice site, good prices, but I believe the one the OP is looking for is the one for $631. (The layered aluminum, they have it listed as ALUMINUM/WOOD) It is an extremely expensive trim I believe it is all hand made. (Option new was $1250)

my mistake. didn't realize the beaufort is the layered aluminum/wood. $631 is ridiculous. lol.
that's a rare set of options you have. finding a take off part from a car with those specific options will be a challenge. i wish you luck on your search.

Thanks gk1. So pulling off my Carbon Fiber panel should I expect to find everything the same on the part number with exception to the GC1 at the end? Is that the color code? Not sure that I will go the dealer route due to price, but would be good to know the exact part number I am looking for. I am looking at around $750-1000 for the whole set aside from this one piece, so I would hate to double my cost, but I would at least then be able to keep searching for it by exact part number in hopes of finding something on the cheap.

Anyone have any thoughts on the question about removing the memory seat buttons from the passenger side and if that will cause any issues?

Yes, that's it kebabman, just need to have memory seats on both sides.

The Beaufort trim is the most expensive option (in Europe anyway) and is not a standard finish on any car. That’s probably why your struggling to find on the used market.

Deep pockets? Look here (https://www.bks-tuning.com/oem-audi-a6-s6-rs6-4g-c7-interior-trim-set.html)

Beaufort aluminum is amazing IMHO. Best interior modification I've done to date.

Yes RAF_S7, I know its rare, expensive and hard to find. I'm just trying to figure out if the specific variation of the option even exists since I haven't seen the right side panel with memory cutout anywhere in my months of searching, even in pictures of people's cars that have the optional Beaufort Aluminum trim.

My A6 3.0T has the beaufort aluminum trim and it also doesn't have a hole for passenger side memory.

From looking at the S6 buyer's guide, it seems it only comes with the comfort seats (which are an option only on the S6) so you are restricted to specifically looking at S6s with comfort seats with the Aluminum Black Beaufort trim. In short, good freaking luck [>_<]

Yeah Vinng86, thats what I've been thinking, but if you think about RHD cars from overseas, their memory seats would be on the right hand side, so there should be some as a result of that as well, even in the A6, or at least thats what I'm hoping.

Oh good point.

Also, in theory you should be able to remove the passenger buttons without much trouble. I looked into the repair manuals and it's relatively simple to remove them - just unlatch and disconnect the plug:

This could be an option. It doesn't say if any codes will be thrown but I honestly doubt anything will happen.

Thanks for looking that up. I will pull it and see what happens in the meantime so I know if its an option.

Yeah, It looks like the GC1 might be the suffix code for the layered style. The carbon p/n is 4G0867410M7V7.

Hey Vinn86, could you possibly post a pic of the instructions mentioned in your repair manual for "Body Interior; Rep. Gr. 70 ; Overview - Front Door Trim Panels"? It should be as simple as using a trim tool and pulling it off but I would like to see if it shows where the connection points are so that I have a better chance of removing it without damaging any of the tabs in the process. If I do pick up the Beaufort Aluminum Trim, I would like to sell my Carbon set undamaged. [;)]

p3u, those pictures make me so jealous. When I bought mine, I had a choice between an Estoril Blue S6 and the Glacier White S6 that I bought. Estoril Blue is a great color AND it had the Beaufort Aluminum Trim, but it had the white/grey seats, 60k+ miles on it, and did not have many of the options I wanted like HUD, and Cold Weather Package. Mine had 43K miles, comfort seating, and every option available including HUD, Cold Weather Package, Night Vision, Lane Assist, etc. AND it cost less money, even after having it shipped to CO from AZ. Couldn't pass it up, and assumed I would be able to track down the trim. Of course that was in January, and I am still searching. [facepalm]

It's super easy. Open the door and start prying from the narrower edge all around and it should come straight out. The clips are built in a way they can't really snap off unless you hulk it out.

Well, I pulled the panel, took a picture of the part information and pulled the memory seat buttons, started the car and saw no warnings. Also, the passenger seat worked just fine as well, so I know that I can pull the buttons and run without passenger memory seat if I want to buy a set from allegro.pl without the cutout. https://www.audizine.com/gallery/data/504/Trim5.jpg

We had this layered aluminum trim on our 2014 S6 but really prefer the carbon fiber trim on our 2017 and 2018 S6's. I wouldn't sacrifice the memory buttons on the right or go through the trouble or expense for the black wood and aluminum trim.

Dr Chill, with the sport seats I agree it is a great look, and honestly it is nice in mine as well, but I think the Beaufort Aluminum gives the Comfort Seats version gives the car a classy/sporty look. Personal preference obviously.
