+1, been using those for a year or so, excellent pads.

How's the initial bite of the EBC red stuff pad vs the OEM bite?
The thing I love about the OEM pads is the initial bite. I tried other pads on my S4 instead of OEM and the initial bite was extremely disappointing for me.

EBC is amazing, that's what I have had on other cars and is what I will get for the S6. you HAVE to follow the break in instructions, but they BITE.

2017 S6, squeal was finally beyond what i could handle at 29k. Put EBC red pads on OEM rotors 3 days ago and wish i had done it a long time ago. No squeal and still a little early to give dust reviews, but bite appears to be same as OEM no complaints from me.

I see they have a yellowstuff street and Track? Any reason you went with the red pads instead of the yellows?

The Yellows are for fast street and track. There is no ceramic content, and they are similar to OEM regarding dust. Can’t comment re squeal.
Reds are for fast street use and not recommended for track. High ceramic content, no squeal, no dust.
If your going to track your car, go Yellow or an alternative supplier.

I thought I had read something similar a while back, that yellows were closer to Audi OE pads in both dust and stopping power due to the high weight of our cars, and the reds while cleaner were a slight decrease in braking performance versus the OE pads.

ECS tuning has a little chart that breaks it down (pun intended!)

With those that did the red stuff on the S6, is the brake sensor compatible?

Not sure on mine, i got new sensors. Shop that installed said it is tough to do without damaging old sensors.

Good to know. If you had to get new sensors then that means they fit.
They didn’t fit on the A6 so I had to get a bypass sensor.

The brake wear sensors can technically be reused, as long as the wire on them isn't severed. It's a simple circuit that gets cut whenever the brake pads wear down. They often get stuck on by gunk though.
Nevertheless, you're technically supposed to replace it, which you might as well as many brake pads come with the sensors that match the brake pads which match your car.

Yea I know they should be replaced. But sometimes pads don’t have the space for the sensor. So I was just asking if it was compatible. Sounds like it is.
Has anyone had to use the dust shields?
Since i picked up my S6 used, the front pads were nearly worn down so the dealer is going to swap them ... after they place new stock pads, I have the Red Stuff ready to go and I’ll save the stock pads for anything. Haha

Whats the options for the C7.5 S6 fronts?
Can go OEM 4G0698151F / 4G0698151AB or EBC Yellow.
Any recommendations?
I went with EBC Red Stuff pads for my A6. Night and day compared to oem for my vehicle.

The sensors for the A6 are too big for the Red pads. I would assume you have the same size sensor. I didn't bother finding sensors that fit.
