Also has anyone removed the black weight on the front of the caliper housing, is it necessary as the other versions of brembos on the RS models do not come with it.

Yellow. If mine didn’t come red I would go yellow or black.

I think it also depends on the wheel choice but either yellow or red seem to be pretty popular on a black car. Unless you plan to run a bright silver wheel (and even then, i'd be hesitant), I'd shy away from black if you're going through the trouble/money to have them refinished.

Maybe its me but if you happen to be in California and have the Black classic plates with yellow text, yellow calipers would bring all of that together.

I'm actually going to get mine painted and while the red calipers bring out the red in the Super Charged badge, I want the classic plates so might go Black with Yellow Audi rings

My vote is for orange against a black car. For the SLC I powdercoated my Brembos Prismatic Illusion Orange. I have some high temp orange paint for the S7, but I haven't full commited to the color as I think it may clash with my bronze ADV.1s.

I'm pretty sure that the guy who I bought my car from said he paid $550 to have them powder coated. And they furnished the "S6" decals also.

You found a business to take off the wheels, disassembled everything, powdercoat, and reassemble everything - plus the engine brace, for $325? That sounds like a serious money loser doesn't it, lol.

Just powdercoated calipers and brace, didn't say anything about removing wheels and disassembly. Calipers are only 2 bolts each to remove. I took pistons and seals out, it's easy with a piece of wood between them and compressed air. I bought new seals when I put them back together. Business sand blasted, prepped and powdercoated for $325

If you have the factory S Sport package with the red calipers then I would stick with them. I just purchased a new 2018 Glacier White S6 with the S sport option back in February which has the red calipers and I'm super happy with the look. That being said, if I had a 2016 with S sport (which had black calipers) or a non S sport car that was painted black...... I think that red obviously looks good but seeing that it's a factory option and somewhat common, you should definitely consider yellow (looks great!!)!!! Other colors like lime/highlighter green, bright orange, anything contrasting, etc...... would look great. If you're spending the money/time, do something unique but tasteful to individualize your car!!!

Powder coating is going to be easier to keep clean than paint. If you're going to go with red, consider a shade which is different from most, like Crimson Candy Red.

No lie! Hell I'd be tempted to do every year so they stay looking new! I do think $335 for what they did was a great deal. I never asked for a price since they had to be done reguardless, but was happy with price.

On a black car, either red or silver, esp with black wheels, although yellow doesn’t look as bad as I thought on a black car (I usually think of Porsche yellow calipers on white or silver cars: Here’s silver on my black car:

I'm guessing BMW Blue is the wrong. Hahah, would be better received if it was Audi blue, it's a nice blue color either way.

Logos are stickers, if paint shop is doing it they generally put them on under the clear. Front is about 120mm and rear is about 85mm.

Looks like OEM RS6 grille. The guy spent some coin on this conversion, aside from the brakes being the 400/370 set up vs. the 420/370 set up he's done a lot of the true conversion stuff. Those wheels are the RS6 20x9.5 ET21s that are super rare.

I went two tone on my A7... might change the red to Burnt Copper (or Bronze) later:
