Had 2016 A7 - had oil changes/maintenance done when reminders went on. last one was at 35k

Bought 2016 RS7 CPO with 21K miles or so January 2019. Now at 24k and oil change warning and inspection due reminder went off?
Questions. Called my local audi and said the oil change not due yet and may have not been reset during last maintenance.

1. Is maintenance schedule for RS7 different from A7?
2. How often are folks changing oil electively on RS7 to keep turbos healthy, etc.....

thanks

I have an S6. You will see a lot of people with S6/S7/RS7 doing 5k OCI. I personally do 3k but my car primarily only sees city driving so it is subject to more wear and tear than those that primarily see highway miles.

Frequent oil changes with quality oil and filter is Cheap insurance, especially if you do it yourself. IMO

I use LIQUI MOLY Leichtlauf 5w-40 and have experienced zero oil consumption and bit cooler engine oil temps.

regardless of factory recommended oil change interval, change it every 5k. It will help alleviate future blown turbos/ clogged oil screen.

Assuming oil changes so far have been 10k and 20k, you should do your next oil change at 25k, and every 5k after.

If you have an RS7 getting an oil change every 5k miles is essential, especially with tuned cars. Cheap insurance for the turbos.
