Can’t reset service reminder with VCDS

Tried to reset my service reminder today and no luck. Still says 500 miles to next service. Tried a couple of times and no joy. My system prompted me to download the newest software but still no luck.

What the heck am I doing wrong? Last oil change it reset with no problems.

My screen in the car still says 500 miles until next service.
