Looks good ! I did the same mod and love it. It has gotten louder with miles as well. Still have my full awe exhaust in my garage and don’t think I need it with this mod.

I’ve found over the years that with a muffler delete and resonator delete that is the best bang for the buck. And if need be a HFC or downpipes. The full exhausts are never loud enough for my liking and certainly not worth the $$$$

I wanted a happy medium and I believe removing any more resonators or mufflers would cause raspy drone in my opinion but this is perfect for my function and sounds GREAT!

I have a A6. But every car I’ve owned in the past 4 years has had the mufflers chopped off lol. I think the S7 with the mufflers chopped off would be obnoxiously loud. Probably like that S7’s that pops up on YouTube from I think Effspot. I’d personally do it. Remember you only live once and Loud pipes save lives

You must go with a Xpipe or Hpipe because of the valves opening and closing, Walter at simple performance explained it to me that straight pipe isn't good for these cars

After following this thread, I decided to keep the suitcase and delete the mufflers on mine. Partially for the sound, but mainly so I can have some decent looking tips. I plan to get it done Saturday to my pre-FL S7. They respond differently than the FL ones though.

I believe his current setup is front resonators, middle suitcase and no rear mufflers.

Are you referring to the OP? b/c I think from the pics it looks like he only deleted the middle suitcase and replaced it with an X-pipe and kept the front resonators and the rear mufflers since he'd concerned about drone. I am also considering this for my S7 with the sport exhaust but am concerned about drone.
