S4 B8.5 A/C Fan always On

Hi,

The right A/C Fan on my 2015 S4 start as soon I unlock a door (run for 10-15sec.) or start the cars even in a cold morning.(stay on as long as the car is running. (The fan stop after 10-15 sec. When I turn the engine off).
Inside I’ve got hot and cold air with and without the AC On. The Car temperature goes up properly as I’m driving and the temp needle stay right in the middle. Since is the winter here and temp is Low, the left fan stay off always.
Vag scan show in the 09- cent. Elect. 00003 Control module-Faulty.
Looking for any advise question or comments

I had an issue just like that but mine had a permanent power supply and would run non stop (imagine having to pop your hood anytime you come and go from some place to plug your fan in!) wow was that a dangerous game I played. Dead batteries and all that but your computer doesn’t sound that bad, turned out to be the fan control module which was weird because I got into an accident and I replaced it just to be safe and that when it started with the replacement.

If the thermostat was stock close wouldn’t the left fan run at full speed as well ?

I could only imagine ! Indeed dangerous game...
So the control module was the cause ! How did you ended up finding the module was the cause ?

Was sick and tired of the issue so took a shot in the dark and bought it, figured that’s what controls the fan and it’s not controlled from ecu
