Awe track vs touring

Ik the track has a lot of drone which gets annoying does anyone have touring exhaust?
On stock downpipes.

I drive on the highway mostly! Around 50 miles a day.

I just swapped out my track rear section for the touring resonators last night, and can say that I am very pleased and can finally actually hear my SC. Exhaust note is personal, but the drone with the track exhaust was too much for me on the highway. I also have factory DPs ATM.

I initially had touring with stock downpipes and I thought that was too loud, there was quite a bit of drone cruising at around 75 mph. I had to get resonated downpipes and now it sounds much better.

lol why? Are you just referring to the diamond black tips? The chrome 102 tips are heat as long as you keep them clean.

I’ve had both and if you drive 50 miles a day you don’t won’t the track version unless you truly don’t gives a shit about drone. It’s fine for a bit but eventually it gets old. Touring sounds almost the same as the track, just not as raw sounding, in my opinion

Use good quality headphones (preferably around-ear) when you watch the videos. You don't need the volume to be super loud (usually 50%-75% is enough). This will give you the closest experience to what the exhaust notes actually sound like.

diamond black tips don't last. mine had tons of chipping after one winter.

I get extra-sensitive when CT people start messing up. There is enough detective work at day job, addicts rarely tell me the truth.

I do remember reading this one and thinking my AWE only vibrated the arm rest and it was an easy fix. Thanks for the link.

I have touring mid section, track end pipes and resonated downpipes. It’s silent when you need it but has a big growl when it’s foot to floor. I took off the touring mufflers because it was too quiet.
