As the title says I'm in the market for a b8/8.5 s4 dsg. main things I'm wanting are sports diff and not white inserts on the seats + CF trim and peelers if on stock wheels. wouldn't mind prestige with the push start (maybe owners can tell me its worth it) otherwise just looking for 1 as close to stock with under 80k miles.
Anything to expect besides waterpump/thermostat? Heard DSG issues can happen but not sure how common that is.
Coming from a WRX was looking at e92 335xi's but hearing they can be alot to deal with regarding maint.

Go for the b8.5 (updated interior that was a plus for me) Though this is dealers choice and the amount of money you want to spend. Make sure if your copping a b8 that the DSG issues has been sorted out (after 2012?) some b8.5s early 2013 has them too but if the mechatronic has been replaced i think you are good to go.
Sports diff = again dealers choice i live where the only main bendy roads are on ramps so it wasnt a deal breaker for me. Though my b8.5 comes with ADS so I could have a sports diff, i havent looked under the car itself to check itself. Though reading the trunk code makes me believe the car does not have it .. but who knows.
Think that is pretty much it. Un modded of course, only reason is because if i had any tune on the car I am beating the ever loving shit out of it. Oh and be prepared for audi tax.
I came from the honda game, so yea an exhaust at 200-300 to a 2k exhaust had me feeling some type of way but I'd have to admit i get more compliments and head turning in the audi vs the honda. Between the two, honda is just raw speed 160MPH spinning all gears vs 150MPH and not hearing a damn thing lol.
