radiator leaking from drain

ok, i'm struggling to get the radiator drain to seal back up. I had to do some work, and in the process drained the radiator... now i'm done, and it continues to leak.

Any suggestions on this? I don't want to pull the screw out because i'm afraid to break it, but i feel like i need to replace the o-ring or grease it.


Solution: turns out the o-ring is cut and was binding the plug from coming out. Just a mild moment of panic....

Currently dealing with this issue myself, after installing my new HX. I pulled the whole plug out and replaced the o-ring before I vacuum filled the system... vacuum held fine for 15 minutes or so, and nothing leaked when I started it up and let it run for a while. But after sitting overnight, there was a small puddle of my new coolant under this damn drain. I've re-drained and pulled the plug again, and the o-ring seems fine, so I'm a little miffed. :(
