Vibrating hood

I recently hit a deer w my B8.5 S4 and had my hood replaced with an OEM Audi hood. I noticed the hood shell vibrating, most noticeable over bumps or at speed 50mph+. Have been talking with Audi directly and haven’t seem to found an answer yet but this vibrating doesn’t seem normal or something I had on the original hood. Has anyone notice it or know of a fix?

I came across something similar on AudiWorld including a video of a q7 hood behaving similar but no resolution. Thoughts?

Take the car back to the body shop and have them adjust the hood.

Mayebe you need to adjust the "adjust rubbers"(dont know the word) under the hood.

Have done both already - hood is latched tight to the car... just the outer shell that moves. Almost seems like the shell and the frame on the underside aren’t bonded together well enough.

That means body shop did not do proper fit of shell&frame.

Thanks! It was a new hood they ordered directly from Audi - Do the shell & frame come fit together from the factory or does the body shop have to weld/bondo the two together or make other adjustments to it?

ASK BODY shop for parts invoice. run part number, BUT NO REASON THE HOOD SHOULD VIBRATE! it shows hood as one part . 2014 . IT is possible Shop did not use AUDI part. There is a insulator that goes one to the hood. IS that vibrating? It is made of black/grey composition. It is not metal.

It comes in one thing.

I work as a carpainter at a V.A.G dealership and never seen a hood thats been seperated... But i guess its a first thing for everything :)
