Hello,

2013 B8.5 Owner.

Changed front pads/rotors with EBC Brakes S4KF1593 S4 Kits Redstuff and USR rotor (havent done rear yet since this problem occurred). I get in the car to move it into my garage and I'm getting TPMS malfunction. Last night I was getting electronic brake malfunction and ABS malfunction.

On the passenger side, there was 1 cable I disconnected. I reconnected it after realizing I forgot it and I have not gotten anymore E-brake Malfunction or ABS malfunction. Driver side I replaced the wear sensor.

The car feels like the front brakes are locked in place. I can feel the electronic brake disengaging in the brakes, so i know thats not the problem. Im assuming the ABS system is stuck ON. Hoping someone can help guide me through this issue.

Thanks!

I had a similar problem in my TT, though it was not related to changing pads and rotors. It turned out to be corrosion in the connectors for the ABS system. I would double check the connectors that you disconnected. Since the TPMS uses the ABS sensors, that certainly points the those sensors (or the wiring/connectors for them) as being the issue.

I can honestly say there was no corrosion on the wiring. The vehicle has under 45k miles and lives in Florida, in a garage.

The TPMS System is no longer giving me error messages. I went into the Servicing menu and just reset it to read the current value.

No errors, car is stuck. Feels like brakes are still "being pressed"

Had it on jackstands all around, forgot to lower, doesn't want to post

You didn't add or delete any spacers?

if you think the brakes are *stuck*on. start car and get your wife or grandma who ever you have near you to step on the break while you open the bleeder valve **if you can get your hand between the spokes** on the caliper and bleed off the pressure till the brake pedal hits the floor then tighten up the bleeder. do both sides. Do this and it will tell us if the calipers are locked for some dumbass reason.
