Can you identify the APR Ultracharger Throttle Body?

So is the famed APR Ultracharger really a Dodge Truck 80mm Hemi throttle body?

Has anyone looked into it? Mine is having issues. I pulled it and other than the APR decal, there are no markings on it.

The back story: I bought a 2010 S4 with an APR DP and Ultracharger on it. Its clearly not warrantied and am not sure if APR would even give me the time of day if I asked.

Its been dropping this code and going into limp mode. When it runs, it feels jerky and non-linear. Vag com says:

1 Fault Found:
6530 - Angle Sensor 2 for Throttle (G188)
P0221 00 [237] - Implausible Signal

Removed and cleaned the ultracharger throttle body - only a bit of greasy stuff in there, really not much.
Replaced the throttle pedal with a new OEM one.

Now I think I need to replace the throttle body.

To me it looks like a 80mm Dodge Hemi 801 throttle body. Should i just order a Dodge RAM throttle body and see? Or spend more $$ and get the 85mm TB.... lol

Great post. I mean the ultra charger is nothing more that a new throttle body system so you certainly could be on to something man.

Why not get the dodge one - I don’t see any harm.

Call APR. They will absolutely tell you what hardware and software are present. I just did this. You just need your VIN. They can give you details.

Yes, I believe it is a Hemi (VDO) throttle body.
Several people have upgraded to 85mm and even 90mm TB's using Mopar part(s).
Some early edition Ultracharger's had issues with the harness connectors.
Reach out to APR - the solution may be as easy as a new harness.
