Hello

I am planning to purchase a new A6 and wonder if the sports suspension will give the car a rough ride. Also, would the 21" wheels make it rougher.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks
Hank

It is not rough at all. I have a 2019 A6 on order with the upgraded suspension and 21" wheels. Drove the exact car about a month ago and it was fine for me. It is all relative though, if you are coming off a 1984 Cadillac it will seem rough! LOL

This is true. It's all relative.

For instance...my sport suspension A7 on 21" wheels, which is now even lower thanks to a set of H&R Sport Springs, is still a smoother ride than my Macan GTS. Granted the Macan is also lowered over factory, but it's on air springs and has far more rubber on its 21" wheels than the Audi.

Only way to know for sure, based on your personal tastes and preference, is to find one and take a test drive.

We just took delivery on a 2019 A6 with the sports wheels 21'' with Pirelli P Zero All season tires fitted and it drives like a "BIG" sports sedan....I have driven one with the Michellin tires and it was a bit more 'tame'... I liked both...the Pirellis' are a firmer overall ride but I like that...

We will see how they perform this summer in the warmer temps. I'm looking forward to auto crossing it this spring to see how it handles.
