Looking for ideas to increase air to the brakes to improve cooling. I do track my car and have upgraded brakes to Brembo kit with stainless lines and use Castrol brake fluid.
Rotor temps are near 900 degrees after a spirited session and itís taking itís toll on brake pads. Hoping someone has a solution for some ducting or increased air flow.

There's another thread on this forum about modifying the OEM brake shields. Based on my shaky recollection from my last time under the car, the fronts actually have a duct but it's not attached to anything.

Also, some of the S4 guys that track use the RS5 backing plate with a "scoop" off the Porsche Macan. It's a simple piece of plastic that forces air into the rotor. More info here on adapting them to the B8 S4. Should be able to retrofit them to the RS5 too.

ECS carries the ducts, left and right. CHEAP.

ECS sells the OEM dust shields. You could purchase a second set and modify them as pictured in the link above.

Turns out I know one of the guys in the post and the shop he used is an Audi sponsor at track events. I will be checking them out on Tuesday. Thanks for the help!

Most welcome! I figured some of these guys may be close to you. I'm looking into those Macan scoops. They're cheap so if they don't work, no biggie. Will move on to a more complex design once it's time to replace my pads. Disassembly and measurements will be easier at that point.
