Hello all. After calling about half a dozen shops around the San Antonio area and getting quotes between $850-950 for labor to install my H&M lowering springs I have decided to do the install myself. I have done lowering springs on my bmw 335i and they were not that bad (about 6 hours of work with no help and some jack stands.) Before I tackle the a6 is there anything in particular that I should be aware of or prepare for? ie specialty tools needed? Also I've read some complaints about lack of room in the rear to fit a spring compressor, incase anyone may have a trick or advice for that.
thanks in advance for any help and I'll be sure to post up some pics after the install.

I just installed oem sport springs on my 14' A6 this weekend. I was able to fit two spring compressors on the rear springs. It's a little cramped but it worked. Also, be sure to lower the subframe in the rear. It helps tremendously and is very easy to do.
