For those of you who live in/close to DFW:
The Audi Club of North Dallas has rented out the Texas Motorplex for a private drag racing event!
The essentials:
Texas Motorplex in Ennis
Sunday, February 17 (rain contingency date is March 3rd)
11am - 3pm. Gates will open at 10am if you want to come early to prep. Track opens at 11:00 sharp.
$50/car
You can bring as many cars as you want.
You do NOT need to bring an Audi if you have a car you'd rather race.
Any surplus money raised above and beyond the track rental fee will go toward cash prizes TBD.
The best way to get more info:
do a Facebook search for Audi Club of North Dallas.
submit a request to be added to the group.
once added, click on the "Events" link at the top of the page.
You will see an event entitled "ACND goes drag racing". That will have any other info and a Paypal link to pay your entry fee.
