Bent piece of metal/frame next to rear wheels?

I was looking at the underside of my car this evening and noticed a weird bend in this metal piece which is adjacent to the rear wheels. The bend is on both sides identical (or nearly identical) in shape and location.

Is this normal? This is a CPO 2016 S7 purchased about a month ago. It was on a lift recently. 95567

Looks like somebody tried to place the car on jackstands at a spot not at the lift-points
