It's time to replace my wife's 12yr old RDX. We're not in a rush, but took her to look at the '19 RDX, '19 Highlander Limited and then last visit was to Audi for the SQ5. She has a lot of happy history with the RDX, but it's a brand new model so relatively high demand + never like buying first MY. The Highlander appealed to her practical side, but even she noted the interior was a step down from what she has now. When she got to the SQ5 she definitely expressed that it would be her first choice. I'm ok buying 1yr used like I did w/ my S4 as the savings was huge, but I'm not seeing quite the drop yet on the 1yr/<10k mile '18's, so considering just ordering a '19 new to the exact spec we want.

Does anyone know a Bay Area dealer / specific sales person who can just take an order and do an invoice + ~$500 or price. I'm not trying to grind down to absolute bottom dollar, just want a reasonable deal w/o a ton of hassle if possible. Unfortunately, I get it, in this area you have plenty of buyers who totally don't care and just pay whatever, so if I have to look toward Sacramento/surrounding areas I'm fine with that as well.

Hi,

I know this is a little late, but were you able to put in your order yet for the SQ5? I have a contact at Audi of Fremont who I worked with at East Bay BMW in Pleasanton when I purchased a car from there a few years back. She is now at Audi of Fremont as she was losing customers to Audi, go figure. Let me know if you're still looking for a deal, she is awesome and really easy to work with. I'm sure she'll take care of you if you're serious and reasonable.

Cheers,
John
