Anyone else have this warning come up? I took it to the dealership to have them warranty it but they said its a common issue with no fix at the moment. Ive had multiple C7.5s and never had this come up before. Now I just have a triangle on my dash that they cant fix.

I've only had the braking guard and ACC unavailable, which was due to sensors being dirty and not calibrated correctly. Are you sure it's not disabled in the MMI somewhere?

From what Ive found, it has to do with the passenger side pre-tensioner. To me thats a safety device failure which is not good.

If that's what error codes are coming up, then I would suggest going back to the dealership or finding another one and having them replace it, especially being under warranty.

This happened on my 2014 A6 3.0T a month ago. So far nothing majorly wrong. My ACC and brake guard still work, as does the parking sensors and top down view. I'm going to ask about it during the next maintenance but unfortunately it's out of warranty.

possibly related to the PODS recall?... which has no fix as of yet.

passenger seat occupancy sensor is faulty.
Which in turn could possibly cause the pre-tensioner problem if unable to detect an occupant correctly.
Pre-sense also being a safety system and the fact that the dealer acknowledges the problems, and there is no fix (the recall also has no fix yet), would make me think the problems are all related.
