Body shop recommendation needed (SF Bay Area)

Hi all,

I need your input. I've bought an aftermarket bumper and had a shop paint it. I don't like how they matched the color and they won't do it.

I am looking for a high quality shop in the San Francisco Bay Area to do this job.

Who would you recommend and why?

European Collision Center in SF. I have had both our Audis repaired there several times. Exceptional workmanship and attention to detail. The shop is state of the art with an impressive clean room for painting. My car incurred significant damage from gravel on the road. They made the car look brand new. They also worked very well with the insurance company justifying every little imperfection needing to be repaired. I have thread in here somewhere detailing that journey.

Summit Auto Body in Belmont. Chris is the owner and he and his crew do wonderful work. My old Avant was brilliant red, but they matched and installed two pieces for me - rear spoiler and valance insert. I've used them for two collision repairs and a handful of modification efforts over many years as well.

My go to shop in San Mateo closed..he retired...I am totally bummed...used him for probably a dozen jobs.

If you're in the San Jose region, I'd highly recommend Apex Autobody. I found them through my old mechanic (Bob @ House of Dubs) and have used them a few times and their work is awesome. Many custom paint jobs done there as well, but I went in for factory VW BMP paint and matched the rest of the car perfectly.
