Hi all,

The ECS intake has a 4" diameter by the air filter and a 3" diameter by the throttle body.

Given that the iABED 75mm throttle body has a 3.25" diameter, I'd need to either stretch the current 3" coupler or buy a new one.

Alternatively, I was thinking of getting a different intake pipe with a wider diameter.

Can anyone chime in on whether the 3" diameter at the TB will be a bottleneck? If so, couldn't I just replace the intake pipe, air filter, and couplers to keep my ECS kit intact?

Thanks

Interested as well, using ecs carbon fiber intake pipe.

I'll be testing it in the near future. Just waiting for an update from 034 to fully utilize the TB then I will gather data.

I have a USP intake that goes from 4" -> 3" and a Tampa Autosport one that is 4" the full way.

I've only ran a few sets of logs so far. with my old setup(Ported TB + USP Intake) vs new (iAbed TB + TAS Intake)

Thanks for the data. Seems like you get .50 PSI, which might be like 6-8whp?

The intake that TA sells, can I make that work with my ECS kit? Basically, I swap out the filter, intake pipe, and couplers and bolts or w/e, and that should be it?

I'm using it with the USP heat shield.

It is a tight fit but it works.

I'll be dyno testing it once we dial everything it.

Keep in mind, my stock TB was ported and polished so you should see a bit more gains than this.

Ah, good point. So might be closer to .80 or something.

Hmm, what did their intake come with? This seems like it might be the solution I go with.

You can reach out to Evan, I'm not sure exactly what he includes or if he even still makes these.

(I've had his intake for like a year but it didn't fit with my old setup)

Sounds good, I'll see if I can get more info. Thanks!
