TR Motorsports MT1 wheels in good condition. (17x8, 5x112, ET35). Comes with OEM Continental a/s tires used for 1 season.
Ran these for several winters. Haven't used them since getting rid of my B6 3 years ago.

The wheels are less than 18 lbs each, BBK friendly. Perfect for winter or track wheels.
Fits B5 S4, B6 A4/S4, B7 A4/S4. Will most likely fit other Audi models (note the bolt pattern and ET).

Tire Rack lists 17x8 ET35 as a perfectly viable size for the A3...
What year is your A3?

9" wide with ET35 ain't going to work on the B7 imo. Well it would but you'll need to run 215 rubber... imo.

You're right, on OEM. Except I'm building a fender over fender wide-body front end and likely DTM boxing the quarters. So I could run 11" wide wheels if I wanted, but the 17" tires I run are capped at 265, and anything more than 9" is a waste/added weight.

Yes, it's a legitimate, purpose built endurance race car.

Come to think of it, these would be a great addition to my daily until the tires are burned off and then can become backup race wheels. I'm in Vegas until next Sunday (November 4). If they're still available, I'll take them.

Ah. Widebody - NICE. Yeah, makes sense then. However these have finally been sold. I can't believe it took 4 weeks of posting on the forums, FB group to finally sell these.
