My right tail light keeps going out completely. I replaced the bulb holder and it will come on for a while and then go out again...every bulb in the tail light. I looked at the plug and one of the connectors looks brown/brassy and the other 3 are silver looking. I'm guessing it's the ground contact that's burnt out (brown wire). Is there a way to replace just the contact? Or can I buy a prewired plug that I can splice on? I picked up a plug at the dealership but there were no wires or contacts in it.

I had that error, got electrical contact cleaner, let it soak for a few minutes, no errors since

^This, plus dielectric grease in the socket/connector.

You can also run a new ground wire for the whole bulb tray.
