I can't figure out my center armrest. I bought the car with the center armrest lid present but not mounted. Now that I'm looking at it more closely I can't figure out what's broken. Any idea what I'm missing here? Did the last owner maybe buy the wrong one and just set it in place? It doesn't seem like the metal pin or plastic boss really line up with the existing holes in the center console.

Either the armrest you have uses the legs are more open or less closed. 88935

I’m not sure about the leg measurements, but there are two versions. Cars with the factory mobile phone mount in the armrest have a narrower armrest.

Mine looks like the bottom one and does have the factory phone mount. Still can't figure out what's broken though.

Not sure what you mean. The lid I have does't seem to fit the console. Is the lid with narrower arms supposed fit the console with phone mount?

Have a look at this tutorial, the armrest lid can seem like it doesn't want to fit, but you have to manoeuvre it in there

I just took another look and I'm pretty sure the previous owner bought the wrong replacement. The lid has the narrow hinges and I believe my console needs the lid with the wide hinges.
