suggestion on cleaning 2016 A6 3.0 for wimps

I try to wipe down the engine on the accessible parts every few weeks. It has stayed relatively clean in part I think because I use a car cover. I do not want to hose down the engine even with proper precautions. Anyone have a suggestion what products to use when hand wiping with micro fiber towel, brush, or cue tip for plastic surfaces, rubber surfaces and metal surfaces? Thanks

Purple Power Degreaser at 10:1 Ratio, spray, dwell, wipe with MF Rags. Use a spray bottle or a garden sprayer. Pick up various brushes too. Avoid electrical components. When done use Adams In and Out as your detail spray. Do this before you wash the exterior as Adams I/O will have some over spray fall out that while easily wiped off it will land everywhere and is best removed by a simple wash afterwards.
