yesterday, when turning slowly for a right had turn, I applied the brakes slowly. The pedal feel was strange, instead of a uniform feel, the pedal felt strange for the first few seconds, it went down
like there was air in the system and the rest of the application felt normal. I made an appointment at the dealer next week, car is still under warranty. At the same turn Today the brake application seemed normal

Not sure if it’s the same but 2 or 3 times in the last 6-8 months I’ve been coming to a stop foot on the brake and the car wasn’t slowing as it should, apply a little more pressure and then the pedal “drops” almost like there was a blockage that was cleared and then the ABS kicks in and the car brakes hard. I haven’t looked into it further as it hasn’t been but a few times and very far in between.

Any chance the rotors / pads were wet?

I had this same issue with my brakes. Every so often, especially after a long highway drive, the brake pedal would travel almost to the floor before engaging.....was a bit scary. Took the car in and they indicated I had been losing brake fluid due to a leak.......they fixed the leak and flushed the fluid and hasn't happened since.

This happened to me recently. The pedal felt weird all day and then I lost brakes completely. The rear caliper fell off the rotor.
