When I had my 2013 b8.5 s4 up on a lift yesterday for an oil change I noticed both left front and rear tires are worn seriously on the inside edge. They are more than due to be replaced but I'm concerned about running a new set. I'll definitely get an alignment with the new set but do I need to consider other suspension issues that need to be addressed. Stock suspension 46 k on car. I've rotated them 10 k ago and everything looked ok. Thanks8804588046

Looks like alignment, take it to a Big-o they’ll check it for free.

Especially since it’s more than 1 tire and it’s on the same side. Good catch tho. That doesn’t look good at all.

Let us know what the alignment shows in as found condition

Good catch, indeed! I had one such tire and it ended up being a bent wheel.

Most of the time that I've seen that it's been excessive toe angle compounded with negative camber

Thanks all for your input. I just got new tires and an alignment today. You were correct on the toe and negative camber. From the looks of the "before" report the front was toe in? Which is counter intuitive for inside tire wear, I would have expected toe out or negative toe angle. The report shows rear negative camber but it is not far out of the range in fact the left is almost within spec as it's at the -1.8. the rear toe is within spec (green) as you can see from the pic. Hopefully this fixes the issue, I'll watch the tire wear more closely now.

How often do you all get alignments checked/performed?88470
