A couple weeks ago my slave cylinder went out and left me stranded. I replaced the slave cylinder last week and since then it’s been really hard to put into gear, especially 2nd. I bled and rebled the clutch system maybe 5 times up until yesterday but there was no change. The clutch feels exactly as it used to and there’s no issues with it slipping or engaging too early. I’ve tried everything at this point. Any suggestions?

did you bleed manually by pumping the pedal or using a power bleeder? when i replaced mine, i ultimately ended up buying a power bleeder after doing manual bleeds 3 times and getting more bubbles each time. also, the car should be as level as possible while you're bleeding

I pumped manually but I’ll probably end up trying the power bleeder next. I tried to keep it as level as possible but I don’t have a lift so the nose of the car was slightly angled up each time.

Raise the rear end up higher than the front when you bleed.
