Recently changed my whole front and rear brake rotors and pads, and steel braided brakes line.

Strange thing is my front brakes perfectly quit, my rear brakes, it squeek really loud when I brake say from 50 km and up, when I drive slow then brake, the noise go away.

And what I notice is the rear brake pad dusting so much, one drive leave my wheel black, the front is perfectly fine.

I got my mechanic spray brake quit and put grease on the rear pad, no help at all.

Anyone have the same problem? Could it be the pad or there something wrong, how can I fix it? Please help

What brand /type of brakes did you put on? Ceramic pads would have virtually eliminated the brake dust. Audi, bevels the pad edges and puts an anti squeal goop on the back of the pads when someone complains about brake squeal

Did you use VCDS process to open and close the emergency brake caliper (http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Audi_A4_(8R/8K)_Parking_Brake_EPB-4) when you did the rear brakes, or some other method?

Use Brake Quiet on the back of the pads and bed those brakes.

I had an custom made no brand brake pads, I knew it's stupid, it's made in this guy's workshop. The performance actually quit good, but I get that extremely loud squeek sound and unusual high amount of dust.

Should I like change another set of pad giving it a try? Or what other things could cause squeek noise?

Buy some like real rear pads. Like Ceramic if you don't want brake dust. You already tried Like pads, Now get actual pads

Q5’s just got a TSB for this. I was having a problem where at 5mph and under I would get horrendous squealing in my 15 S4 and pads are newer. Turns out there is a slight void behind the pad and the squealing is caused from the vibrations. I’d look for the TSB and find the fix. Had my car in for service yesterday and now it’s mysteriously gone
