Newly Purchased 2011 S4 Prestige LED DRL Questions

Hey guys quick question. On my B8 S4 Prestige how do I keep my LED DRL headlight strip turned on at all times. I want the LED light strip in my headlight to stay on even when all of my other lights are off.
Basically anytime I start my car I want the LED. strips to stay on always 24/7 with all my other lights off.

My old 2011 A5 was easy to do this with.

Thanks for the reply. But when I turn the headlight switch to auto I can have the headlight on or off including the led. strip inside the headlight housing; However I am trying to turn on the led. strip only.
I just want the led. light strip on at all times, no headlights on, no taillights on, no parking lights on, just the led. accent light inside the headlight housing to stay on permanently all the time, no other lights on at all?
THE only way I can get the led accent lights to turn on is when I turn my parking lights on. I want everything to stay off. except for the led strip inside the headlight housing

Ah, your DRL is disabled. Check if you can enable it in MMI, otherwise you will need a Vagcom/VCDS.

In your MMI "car" setup. Then scroll to "exterior lighting". Then turn your Daytime Running Lights to On.

This car has so many surprises. Long story but yea. I have enabled my DRL's. in "car" exterior lighting. But still as soon as I turn on drl's in my car settings it turns on my headlights immediately. I mean my actual headlights. Also if DRL's are switched on in my car settings then headlight stay on no matter what. Even if I turn the headlight switch to auto or turn the switch to "0" headlights remain on.
As if the day time running light sensor or whatever might be messed up so they are defaulting to always on (the headlights) instead of just the LED. Strip coming on, everything comes on

I'm betting someone coded your car to turn on all lights as DRL. It's one of the options in VCDS (all lights, headlights, or DRL strip).

I'll make a proper thread tonight about this car; after work. I bought this car off of eBay sight unseen for crackhead pricing. Seriously. Well I go to FL. to pick it up an it has an APRll+ badge on the trunk. This car has some stories an maybe I can find the prior owner with some help. It's deff. Faster then stock. And it's got the APR water/air heat exchanger. I "think" upper & lower pulleys. Yet the Exhaust and cats are stock .....wtf? Also it's probably the highest mileage 2011 b8 in the u.s.
I really dunno what I've just bought but right now I'd like to figure out the DRL situation

eBay cars are fun, most people say “you gotta go see it in person” I don’t agree, if it’s cheap enough, you gotta snatch it before someone else will lol.
Go to the regional section and find the place where you bought the car from see if anyone responds. Also call APR with your vin number and ask them where it was tuned. Maybe the shop that tuned it can tell the prior owner about you.

The DRL are probably coded off, just get a vagcom or find someone in your area that has one...

2011 black S4 Prestige, Auto. Red/Black interior. Clear title. 2-prior owners (maybe 3) VERY high miles. 165k. APR stage 2+ goodies. But half the APR stuff I believe is missing. Stock exhaust, no ultra charger etc.
$8200 out the door.
