View Full Version : Anybody in here have access to oem parts catalogue

I have a friend with a fwd A4 b7 with CVT. He needs a new shifter assembly. We are having issues finding the correct part. Audi calls for 8E1 713 105 but the mechanic claims the part removed from his car is 8E1 713 041. Can anyone tell me the differences between the two part numbers. Please and thanks

Mechanic has claims this was removed from the car but Audi and everything else tells me the part number should end with 105....86783

The 8E1 713 105 looks to be the part you want, number 9 in the diagram. (https://audi.7zap.com/en/usa/audi+a4+avant/a4/2007-454/7/713-713015/#9) The part number your mechanic quotes looks to be associated with the actual gear selector handle, despite where it's stuck. You can see the AA etc. after the part number indicating the color etc.

I'm not saying jump on buying that exact one, do your own research, but from what I can see you are correct.
