Hi everyone,
I've owned my 15 S4 since February and in April, my DRL light would go out intermittently. It was during that time I pretty much figured out that it was not an option to replace the LED unlike on the Q5. So I decide to just turn off my DRL's from within the MMI (Figured maybe they were dying and wanted to preserve them). I haven't had another problem until this Sunday. Since then, it has not been working 100% of the time. Upon extensive research again, I cannot really find anything for the facelift cars. Some stuff about changing the voltage using a vagcom and that can solve the problem, but from my understanding that was primarily to turn up brightness? I need to know if there is anything I can do or if anyone near Boston has a vagcom to diagnose. Has anyone else had this problem before and did you need to end up replacing the whole unit? Good time for Ecodes I guess worst case, but would rather hold off on a new light unit if possible. The other funny thing was on the carfax, my car has had the headlights replaced before with no additional information...
Thanks!
