Audi is not taking orders for 2018 A5, there are limited vehicles in inventory, yet you really can't order a 2019 as the pricing has not yet been set (I was at a dealer today).

That seems like a poor marketing strategy. When will pricing be available

Thanks

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out. The 2019 models are starting to be introduced and pricing is expected to be available in the next few weeks. I would encourage you to stay in contact with your dealership as they will be the best resource for you moving forward.

Not that I would do that but there is not even an option on their website to do that. Who buys without knowing the price?

Make sure you get MY2019 due to the phasing out of the current MMI/virtual cockpit equipment. Price should be similar to MY2018 and if you order now your order will be on top of the list.

You would have to communicate that with your local dealer. The order guides are out and generally since it is just a facelift year we will not have a huge jump in base pricing. Quite alot of people order without cars in the capacity again since its not a new redesigned chasis. Worst case scenario once pricing becomes available on your build and you don't like it you can just got your deposit back.

What are you referring to when saying phasing out the current MMI/virtual cockpit equipment? Nothing is changing in this carline for quite some time with the MMI. The only thing slated due to a contractual obligation at the moment involves the Google earth tied to Audiconnect.
