ty in advanceI would suspect in the range of $1700+. I was looking at shipping an Audi A6 from Tampa Florida to SLC Utah, which I got a few quotes all ranging around $1300, so a few extra hundred miles you could easily expect to pay upwards of $1750

I would recommend going with a carrier this is in the middle range price wise. The cheaper you pay the lower quality driver you get. I recently had my S4 shipped from California to Chicago, IL.

I'd recommend these guys. I've dealt with them before. Top notch. Although, probably not the cheapest:

i recently had a TT shipped from san diego to Long island 1850.00 enclosed trailer. took about 8 -9 days
I've used "ship your car now" at least a dozen times and only had 1 problem with a driver who basically called out sick the last moment. If you have a car cover put it on and just go regular long haul transit to save some money. That way it will jump on an existing load and you'll keep costs down.

I was quoted 1600, IIRC, from NJ to WA. The car would have been covered.
Choose a company that allows real time tracking. Also, if your car is a manual, ask in advance if they know how to drive a stick. Maybe that seems silly, but nowadays people don't know.

I did this from Spokane to Northern VA a few years ago, it was a little under $1000 for me, open air carrier.

It seemed to generally be somewhat more expensive to go from east coast to west coast when i was looking at this, not sure why. Maybe the tailwind from the jet stream lol.

Indeed the process would be an expensive one.

If anyone ends up needing any help with transporting, let me know, I would love to help some fellow audizine members get their cars moved.
It is just a 2nd job for me and not my main source of income, so I should be able to get you guys reasonable rates by being able to charge lower broker fees. A lot of the brokers you get quotes online for are trying to capture you in a contract and won't be able to get the car moved for you at the low low prices. Somebody said it above that the mid range ones are usually a little closer to the actual price you would pay.
I can give quotes by messaging on here or you guys just texting me at 503-374-3225.

Late response here but I thought I'd put it out there for others. I've used a1autotransport.com (https://www.a1autotransport.com/new-york-ny/) to ship a couple times and they frequently ship cross country from what I can tell. I had a car shipped last year from CA to WV and they were fairly affordable and I didn't have any problems with the service. I'd definitely give them a ring if I had to do it again.

I have personally used the uShip App from any android or Apple store and submitted a quote request to ship multiple vehicles and lots of freight transport companies will reply with their quotes and you just go with the one that offers the quickest and best price possible. Works great
You get the best pricing possible because most of the responses you get are from transport companies that have room on their transport and are driving through or heading the way you are shipping a car to.

It all depends on the type of transport and the condition of the machine. If it is a high-quality shipment, it will cost in the region of $2,000, and if you want to transport an old car, it may be more cost-effective to use the services of companies offering scrap car (https://autoheaven.ca/). This is not a bad option, as you will get the money and not spend it.

Update: they got me for $200 more - so $1950 all-in. $1750 was apparently just an estimate even though I signed a document promising to pay that. I asked if the price ever goes down from the original number, she paused a long while before saying no.

@12foott Sounds pretty good for enclosed that far. Who did you ship with? Also, what time of year was it? I know prices vary quite a bit with the season. [:)]
