Hello all, I've done a search and did not find a definitive answer on what was needed to do a core 35k service, transmission/ gearbox/ differentials for a 2015 RS5, fluids (& quantities) / filters required, is there one out there? any help would be great, thank you. Also, is there a place to buy the service manual/CD also? I have the VAGCOM to complete the service.

Thank you sir. I do have that PDF in partficular, but it does not amplify the specific fluids/filters (part numbers)and quantities required.

I'm getting this exact service done at Audi next week - I'll let you know.

Shouldn't this be covered through AudiCare?

Buythewarranty, it is if you opt in for audicare. I did not and prefer to complete basic preventative maintenance procedures myself, it saves money and I get to get a good look at the vehicle myself to keep a good eye on the status of the car since I don't generally drive it as it is the wife's car.

See this thread: https://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/820234-(Rs5)-s-tronic-and-sport-diff-oil-specifications

I strongly suggest you download the factory service manual from Audi or get one of the available manuals. Here's a thread on where and how: https://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/817161-How-to-download-factory-service-manuals-for-your-Audi?highlight=service+manual

Basically you'll be replacing ALL fluids in the gearbox and the differential. Both have TWO sides, a manual transmission fluid (MTF) side as well as an automatic transmission fluid (ATF) side. The rear differential's "ATF" is actually transfer case fluid.

I'm partial to Motul products so when I do mine, I'll be using the following:

S-Tronic Transmission
-ATF side; Motul DCTF, 7 liters. Specs: https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/motul-production2/images/product_descriptions/technical_data_sheets/56703/Multi_DCTF_%28GB%29.pdf?1510939252
The Audi OEM part number is G 052 529 A2 if you need to keep the warranty intact although I doubt they could void it by using the Motul since it meets their specification.

-MTF side; Motul Gear 300V 75w-90, 5 Liters. Specs: https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/motul-production2/images/product_descriptions/technical_data_sheets/106/Gear_20300_2075W90_GB.pdf?1492016023

You can get an ATF side "kit" with gaskets, filters, etc... at JH Motorsports, ECS Tuning and a number of other places. Here's one example; https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-volkswagen-audi-parts/dsg-automatic-transmission-service-kit-without-fluid/0b5325330akt4/

Note, the RS5 S-Tronic came in two configurations with the major difference being a separate drain plug and one that uses the temp sensor as a drain plug. There are two filters, one internal and one external. You change both.

Rear Differential
-MTF Side; same as above, 75w-90 of your choice, GL5 spec, 1 Liter
-ATF Side; Audi PN G 052 515 A2, 1 Liter

Lastly, here's a nice writeup with photos/diagrams in the S4 section of this forum. There will be some minor differences.
