So, I've read a lot about this. I call my dealer here in Tysons, VA, and he says he never heard of it before. I use my adult voice and tell him to figure this shit out.

My steering wheel stutters before 30 mph, left and right violently. I read it's the hoses, I read it's a recall, and I read that it's serviceable.

What's the deal now?

I'm at 60k. The car has been serviced at Audi dealer all its life through Audi Service contract. It bothers me, but it's not dangerous... yet. I'm afraid, whatever that's causing this issue will escalate into something worst few thousand miles later.

Then I have to sell the car, and buy something from their competition to spite them. That Merc C400 looks real good, and cheap. But I like my car. Got my movies playing, all of the setup is nice through that snake connection through OBD2.

Any good feedback will be appreciated. Thanks!

Who did you speak to at the dealer? If they are not knowledgeable(not surprising) about the issue, I would talk to the service manager and tell him what you know. If you can provide him with copies of the articles you have read, that might help. But be prepared for a "How could you know more then my service staff" attitude as well. Second alternative would be to take it to another dealer if there is another not too far away.

No idea. Some guy. I thought I called Tyson VA, but it's Arlington Audi. He answered with "Yeh." when I called him. Not "Audi Arlington, this is xxx speaking". Just "yeh".
