I'm sure you can pop the lower grills out and get to the fogs, that's for S-line. Us non-Sline plp have a harder time fitting our hands in the gap.
Don't mean to jack thread, but does anyone know, for non-Sline, how to install HID fogs? require bumper removal?

If anyone has done this and has taken pics, could you please direct us to the appropriate thread or post pic series here? Much thanks.
Having to take off the front bumper to change a foglight bulb is almost as stupid as having to find the tool to take off a lugnut cover to change a tire....what the hell were the engineers thinking?

No idea on how to remove the bulb but it should be pretty simple by unscrewing the foglight assembly such that the bulb can be removed from behind (as it was on the B5).
As for the non-S line bumpers, it *appears* that there is a plastic cover that surrounds the foglight on the outside which appears to be removable, though haven't taken a closer look at seeing how it could be removed. If not possible, then yes, the whole bumper needs to be removed to get access to the fog lights.

Removing the bulb from the housing is a bit difficult if you don't remove the housing (unless you have small hands). Use a torx screwdriver size T20 to undo the 3 screws and remove the housing. Once removed, twist the bulb assembly to remove from the housing.

If that plastic piece is removable, then it'll make life alot easier for us non sline. But I'm pretty sure there are couple that just reach behind the fogs and access the bulb. But I'm still debating to go HID or not. I have no idea where to mount the unit.... Can someone please enlighten me on this one?

That guy is a retard [eek] [:D]
Also, you don't need small hands and don't need to remove the torx screws. It's very easy to stick your fingers behind the foglight and twist & turn the bulb out. It only takes seconds to get the bulb out and to swap it out. On a non S-line bumper, the grills don't pop off so you either need to pry your hands in between the grills or actually remove the bumper.
