I would like to find out if a way to play Spotify on my cell phone and connect to USB.
When I connect Samsung S8+ sad no device supported, this is not connected via Bluetooth.
Just USB cable and would like to see on my MMI 3G+
Thank you

IIRC, it only supports IOS over USB, not Android.
I know some people have had a hard time getting Spotify to work over Tune2Air, but I can confirm that I am able to play Spotify via bluetooth to my Bovee WMA3000A (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00R2HZ1XU).

How's the audio quality? Does it drop out occasionally like some of the other BT modules available do?

Audio quality is great actually, and there's no problems with it dropping out.
However, there are some minor annoyances. When you start the car, it will automatically switch to the AMI input - even if it's not connected to a bluetooth device, or if that was the last input before turning off the car. If you have a second driver for the car, and they like to listen to the radio or SD card, they'll have to manually change the input everytime they start the car. Also, pausing from the device itself doesn't work - it seems to automatically send an "A2DP Play" command every few seconds. If you pause from your phone and not the head unit, it will start playing again 2 seconds later.

That is easy. You only need to install spotify apk (https://techbigs.com/spotify-premium-apk.html) for Android, I am sure it will work with your S8

Yea, it works fine foe me via Bluetooth streaming. However, there's a slight audio difference between my work iPhone/ and note8
