Do you rotate your tires and if so how often?

I have directional tires, that means I can’t cross rotate and can only go front to back. Is that even worth it?

Thanks.

Should be every 5k miles.

With directionals, you should still rotate front to back so make sure they wear a bit more evenly. And make sure you're up on alignments, which'll prolong their life.

Thanks.

I wonder why Audi didn’t do it on my first service. I just looked at the service write up and it wasn’t even there.

Anyone know if tire rotation is on the scheduled maintenance?

I would go out and buy a tire gauge and measure the tread when you feel you are due for a rotation. I check mine every time I swap out my winters and summer tires. For me the fronts tend to wear a bit quicker than the rears so I put the thickest tread on the fronts.

Tire rotation is not part of the Audi Service schedule

Never rotated, never have rotated. Like never ever, in 40 years of driving.

I do it every oil change.

I rotate every service and inbetween wheels changes so end up at about 5-6k between rotations. I mainly do it to keep tire warranty intact.

Every 3k here. Keeps them even.

I hardly ever have to rotate them. It depends how they're wearing. As mentioned, you keep track of tread depth and only rotate if needed. The less people mess with your car the better IMO. Last time a freaking dealer touched my wheels they put like 250 ft/lbs of torque with their damn impact wrenches, when they needed 80. If I hadn't checked, would have ruined the wheels and rotors. Needed a huge breaker bar to remove the lugnuts. Would had been impossible on the road. But to each his own.
