Hey guys , so the other night I was doing a couple of runs in my A6 3.0T with a APR Stage 2. Then all of a sudden the car went into limp mode (CEL & EPC) lights were on as well. I wasnt getting all my power, only about 50%. I was able to drive it home however, and the next day i hooked up the VCDS and it read "7804 Position Sensor for Air Regulating Flap".
So I ended up removing the supercharger bypass valve, to see if any dirt or anything got stuck in the gears, but it was really clean, so I just lubed it up, and put it all back together, and reset the CEL.
I took it for a drive and the lights stayed off, until I got about 75% throttle, then it went back into limp mode and lights were back on.

I was thinking about replacing the SC bypass valve assembly, but not sure it would solve the problem. Has anyone else had to replace theirs, or has anyone had similar symptoms? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180620/c4167f3eb6e1885b860c2bd555ae8181.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180620/ccc26c201daf5f2ff16c0d04e5fc3fa4.jpg

Wife's older Audi had a similar issue where the flap itself gets stuck . I would take it in to the dealer (if your not still under warranty with the remap)

I am out of the dealer warranty, I was hoping that would be my last resort.

Start by doing a throttle body alignment and one for the bypass valve. If it sets you're probably good on both.

I have a spare bypass if you need to buy one.
